Sedona is tough mini van, reliable and affordable
available in two
trims, the LX and the EX. Its closest competitor is the
GMC Safari Passenger Van. The Sedona is equipped witha multi port fuel
injection and a 5 speed auto transmission this powerful engine meets Low
Emission Vehicle specifications. Alloy wheels, fog lights, two-tone
body side cladding, a roof rack and optional spoiler make the new 2012
Kia Sedona EX show off a little extra style, there's a leather wrapped
steering wheel and gear -shift knob plus attractive wood grain accents.
2012 Kia Sedona measures 194 inches long on a 114.6-inch wheelbase.
That means Kia Sedona fits in between the long vans, such as the Dodge
Grand Caravan, Honda Odyssey and long-wheelbase versions of the Chevy
Venture, and the shorter vans such as the Caravan, the standard-length
Venture and the Mazda MPV. Upon introduction, both trims are equipped
with a standard 3.5-liter, V6, 195-horsepower engine that achieves
16-mpg in the city and 22-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed automatic
transmission with overdrive is standard. The 2012 Sedona is a carryover
from 2003. It has a 3.5 liter DOHC V6 engine an impressive towing
capacity of 3,500 lbs.
2012 Kia Sedona has power driver's and passenger seats, tilt
headrests, front and rear A/C controls, available leather seat trim and
sunroof. Nice details include visor extensions for early morning or late
afternoon driving. Interiors are available in beige or gray. Both front
seats, offer ratcheting armrests. The second- and third-row seats can
slide fore and aft by several inches, allowing owners to position the
seats to accommodate longer legs or extra cargo. It has a versatile
cargo 127.5 cubic feet. And with eight different seating configurations,
and standard 7passenger seating, removable second row bucket seats and
split double-folding removable 3rd row bench seats that easily roll out
and are light enough for one person to handle. For 2012, the Kia Sedona
has a revised grille with a larger logo.
