Ford E Series
The 2012 Ford E Series is a fully equipped van, capable of
accommodating up to 15 passengers. A carryover from 2005, the 2012
Ford E Series is available in 8 trims - E-150 Chateau, E-150 XL,
E-150 XLT, E-350 Chateau Super Duty, E-350 XL Super Duty, E-350 XL
Super Duty Extended, E-350 XLT Super Duty, and the E-350 XLT Super
Duty Extended.
Upon introduction, a 4.6L V8 engine generating a horsepower of
225, powers the E-150 Chateau, E-150 XL, and the E-150 XLT trims
of the 2012 Ford E Series. Rest of the trims are powered by a 5.4L
V8 engine delivering a horsepower of 255. Engine on the 2012 Ford
E Series is mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission.
The E-150 Chateau, E-150 XL, and the E-150 XLT trims of the 2012
Ford E-Series are expected to achieve a mileage of 14-mpg in the
city and 18-mpg on highways. No information on mileage is
available for the rest of the trims.
For safety & security, the 2012 Ford E Series comes with driver
airbag with dual stage deployment, passenger airbag with dual
stage deployment, 3-point seatbelts for outboard seating
positions, seatbelt height adjusters, automatic locking
retractors, emergency fuel shut-off device, side guard door beams,
panic alarm, 4-wheel anti-lock brakes, front power disc and rear
power disc brakes etc.
Key standard features on the 2012 Ford E Series include air
conditioning, AM/FM radio with 6 speakers, CD player, power
recirculating ball steering, tilt steering column, front dual
reclining high back captains chairs with fold-down center
armrests, third row 3-passenger bench seat, second row captains
chairs, cloth seats, cruise control, steering wheel mounted
controls, aerodynamic halogen headlights, leather steering wheel
