345-horsepower and features a short-stroke
crank and strong 10:1 compression inside lightweight aluminum
cylinder heads. Escalade EXT's engine delivers 345 horsepower
at 5,200 rpm and 380 ft-lbs torque at 4,000 rpm.

Escalade EXT's 2009 standard road-sensing suspension reads the
road surface once every millisecond and adjusts from "soft"
to "firm" as the road surface and your driving style
require.
The
2009 Cadillac Escalade EXT's full-time all-wheel drive is working
all the time. So you get traction at all four corners, without
pulling a lever or pressing a button. And in Escalade EXT, the
driving forces are tailored to the traction that is available
for each wheel. If EXT senses that one or more wheels have less
traction, then the all-wheel-drive system feeds power to the wheels
with the most traction. That gives you confidence in less than
ideal conditions.
With
Escalade 2009 EXT's available DVD Navigation system, you may never
have to ask for directions again. A DVD Navigation system will
"talk" to you, giving directions to your destination.
